It's been almost 4 months since our last entry! Ered and I got back into League of Legends pretty hard, resulting in less time to practice our ol' friend Halo. As it happens, 343i was kind enough to reset all of the rankings for our most-played playlist - the below embed is our very first game after months of taking a break, matching us against the lowest of the low on xbox live. It's filled with amazing fails and genius moments; enjoy! (We love the new BR)

The Gang's All Here
We're trying out a new format for the video: 4-way splitscreen for the entire team. With this map and gametype it's a bit chaotic, but still an enjoyable game (Who do I watch?!?!). I believe this is our first upload from the new playlist Team Throwdown, which is an incredibly balanced and competitive offering from 343i. Kudos to Ghostayame, Bravo, and Walshy for doing the research and legwork necessary to make it happen.

Instant Respawn is Overrated
I've been far too lazy when it comes to rendering and uploading, but this one is definitely deserving. There's a first time for everything, and I believe this was Ered's first for this.

Burial Nostalgia
We haven't spent much time with the DLC maps. This is probably because for some unknown reason we avoid Big Team like the plague. The following game is perhaps my 2nd time ever on Wreckage, and all I can think is: "This feels so much like Burial Mounds!" It's got ranged, close quarters, and vehicles (and it isn't complex) - what more could you ask for!
Overview:
Playlist: Big Team Infinity Slayer
Map: Wreckage
Party: Ered Wethrin, Tol Eressea, Murphy R T
Length: 7min
Highlights:
- Vehicles go boom
- Active Camo + Plasma Pistol = Awesome
- So close to perfection, and yet so far...
PoV: Tol Eressea:
note: Ered and Murphy both saved their perspectives on this game, yet I'm waiting on the fileshare uploading... Regardless, I need to get this one out of the queue to prep for Ered's first perfection to date in Halo 4!

Carry 101
It happens to everyone; to some it happens more than others. You're playing really well, and you just can't figure out why you're not winning by a greater margin. The game finally ends and the score screen rolls; you chuckle to yourself, noting that one or two players on your team clearly weren't able to "get into the groove". This was one of those times.

- Solid teamshot (two players on the same team putting shots on target together)
- Great mix of patience and aggression
- Beam Rifle snapshots (does anyone else feel this weapon is out of control?)

Really Matchmaking? Really?
By and large, the Halo 4 matchmaking system seems to work pretty well. When I play with people who are really good, I feel that on average games are harder; the same thing goes the other way when people on my team aren't as good.
Sometimes... sometimes it doesn't make much sense at all - I guess no algorithm is perfect, right?
